Love in Louboutin

Ah, Friday. Pizza and Netflix night (I seriously need to get on track with this wedding diet... maybe NEXT week). I'm thinking of pulling an all-nighter, since I have to be up at 3:30am to get ready for a 6am flight to Atlanta. My fiance and I are going to his friend's wedding, then flying back Sunday morning... 24 hours later. I'm exhausted just writing about it, but I'm sure we'll have a great time. If only I knew what to wear!

If I could buy a new outfit for the wedding tomorrow, this would most certainly be it...

I love Lucy... I mean, Lulu. ;)
This Deft Precision one strap dress from Lulu is $55. I LOVE the ruffles with the flower on the shoulder. I'd love to have her arms, too. Is there an additional charge?

One day, I WILL have a pair of Christian Louboutin shoes. It may not happen for years... but ONE day, I am going to buy myself a pair and gush over them as if they're a newborn baby. I think that every woman, at some point in her life, deserves to buy a pair of shoes so fabulous that she won't even want to wear them in fear that they may get scuffed. We deserve to feel like the gorgeous and glamorous women that we ALL are. And even if they're only worn in the quiet of your bedroom while screaming babies, project deadlines, and all the mess that life sometimes brings, awaits you, you'll find that there's a healing power in Christian Louboutin.

Step aside, Cinderella...

Check out these beauties. Love at first sight.

After spending $600 on a pair of shoes, it's good to know we can still be thrifty. This Metallic Shine Clutch from Forever 21 is only $7.50.

And now for the jewelry... let's stay on the thrifty side here.

This Soho Sparkle necklace from Banana Republic was originally $92, but is now on sale for $39.99. Any sale over 50% always catches my eye, and most times, my heart.

I chose this one before remembering we were using a one strap dress which would be better without a necklace... thought I'd share it anyway. :)

This Raised Dot Hinge Bangle from Forever 21 for $5.80 will give you a little extra glam...

I'll leave you with one of my favorite quotes for a little inspiration...

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."

Have a great weekend!!
